Autumn and the Aberdeenshire Libraries seed project
At this time of year it's great to take a moment to reflect on how things have gone so far and the end of our Summer Drop-in sessions has given us time to do that. It really has been amazing hearing about what you have been doing with your free seeds and free seed tatties and it has been such a privilege hearing inspiring stories about the difference this project has made.
None of this would have been possible without the good folk of One Seed Forward who raised the funds to make this happen, and who work tirelessly for projects like this. We always have leaflets and posters at our drop-ins explaining what they do but we're feeling such a rosy glow at how life-affirming this project has been and we wanted to take a moment to share the love here too.
If you haven't already found their website - here's a link
There you will also find extra growing guides lots of things to help you keep growing amazing veg.
A big shout-out to everyone in Fraserburgh who turned out to chat about growing for the table and to pick up some more free seeds. A special "hello!" to Anthony and Sarah who have done such inspiring work in their new veg patch this year. Lovely to chat again and thanks for the recipe tips too!
We'll be back at the Seed Hubs later in the autumn with some free onion sets and growing guides from One Seed Forward.
See you then!
